Details:
Went for a drive last night in search of clearer skies, and had an excellent night on Hopeman beach near Lossiemouth. At first I thought I had made a mistake driving into the clouds and rain, but the skies cleared as forecast and the aurora started dancing in the twilight along the northern horizon.
Taken at 0041 UTC, Canon 6d, sigma 24mm lens, ISO2500, f2.8, 8 second exposure
