Details:
Following SpaceWeather's advice, I have been following the prominence/filament whenever the weather and my schedule has allowed. I have been awed by this feature and was lucky enough today to catch the explosion. I put together a small gif of the some images of the explosion. Images were taken with a Point Grey Grasshopper, 400 frames through a Televue 101 IS with double stacked Coronado 90mm H-Alpha filters.
