Details:
Pillars both above and below the sun on the drive to work this morning. The sun was relatively high in the sky and a cloud blocked enough of the sun to get a shot. Later as the clouds thickened the light from the pillar below the sun was reflected back up onto the underside of the cloud deck. At one point it resembled a searchlight coming from the ground. The effect was stronger while I was driving but had weakened by the time I was able to get another shot.
