Yesterday evening was very exciting for astronomy enthusiasts - we had a great opportunity to observe occultation of Aldebaran by the Moon. Unfortunately in Warsaw I could only see a very close rendezvous of a red giant and a crescent Moon. But I think it was very beautiful view and one of the most delightful astronomical phenomena!
Photo was taken using Canon EOS 500D camera and Synta SW 8" DOB, 200/1200 telescope.
