Solar Prominence (cme)
Taken by Robert Pusey on April 14, 2015 @ The 4 photos were all taken within a matter of a few second. My camera was about 8 minutes ahead of BST so times are approximate. I only purchased my Solar scope in February and this is my first ever attempt at photographing the Sun. Equipment:- Lunt 60mm Ha with B600 blocking filter. Camera:- Fuji XE1 with X2 barlow and remote release on Manfroto tripod. Took 149 j.peg photos in quick succession. Exposure time 1/2 sec ISO 100 Exposure bias -2 Focal length 75mm 35mm focal length 113mm Metering mode (Pattern) Aperture priority White balance auto.

Hi Robert, I really like your last image, you seemed to have captured some of the power of that blast from the Sun...great work and welcome to solar viewing :-)
