Details:
Culling through pictures from the last lunar eclipse this one emerged from the file. This partial phase photo is a long exposure that resulted a broad blue band ranging from dark purple blue closest to red shadowed part of the moon transitioning to blue and then to turquoise closest to the part of the moon not yet shadowed. It was hazy cloudy in Tucson and haze picked up the blue color as a surrounding glow. Photo taken with a Questar Q3.5, Nikon D810 mounted on an iOptron Alt Az motor mount.
