The shot of the lake was taken at Crex Meadows in Grantsburg Wisconsin, USA. The two river shots were taken near by on the St Croix River.

Details:
It was a beautiful night to catch a CME impact with perfect clear skies. the auroras were not bright to the naked eye, but very visible as a dull grey greenish glow. The first image caught a bright, slow moving meteor as an extra bonus.
