Details:
BLOOD MOON AURORA Auroras share the Interior Alaskan sky with the Lunar Eclipse of April 4, 2015 at 4:14 am AKDT. In this 17-35mm wide-angle aurora shot the “Actual Blood Moon” is very small but it’s real. The “Telephoto Inset” was photographed at the same time using a 300-800mm zoom lens mounted on a secondary camera, then later placed onto this image.
