Details:
Tucson AZ had scattered clouds and for the most part it really impeded photography, but there were moments when it was a bit clearer and more detail could be observed. This photo shortly before maximum eclipse had a blue band that was visible through the eyepiece and better on the image. Image acquired with a Questar Q3.5 and Nikon D810 on an iOptron Alt AZ mount.

Beautiful clear image. Wonderful. A total lunar eclipse after two weeks from a big solar eclipse at Svalbard; you have seen both a great emotion i think.
