Details:
After thick clouds foiled plan A, I raced north faster than one should drive at twilight. I found a patch of thin clouds where the eclipse was visible as it dropped below the horizon behind a forest of recently burned trees. I normally don't move this fast in the morning, especially without coffee. Nikon D800 with 500mm lens, 1/10th sec @ 5.6, ISO 5000.
