Details:
Enough clearing to get this picture just after 4:30a.m. PDT, shortly before maximum eclipse. A Canon60D at ISO 100 was used with a 2 inch 1x flattener at the prime focus of a 10.5cm f6.2 triplet mounted on an iEQ45-Pro Equat. mount guiding at the lunar rate. Six exposures, ranging from 1/100 second to 10 seconds were combined in Photomatix Pro to create this image.
