Details:
Luna eclipse setting over Mt. Evans, Colorado. Taken from Upper Bear Creek, Evergreen as it set over Mt. Evans, and the headwall of Summit Lake. Taken with Canon 7D, 300mm Canon f/4 L lens on tripod. The moon was just ‘skimming’ inside the edge of Earth’s shadow that made for that bright limb. You might notice DU’s Meyer Womble Observatory on the left side of the Mt. Evans peak.
