Details:
Nova Sagittarii 2015 No. 2 (marked by the red circle) was an easy naked-eye object this morning from the west coast of Mauritius. It was easy to spot as the brightest star inside the "teapot" asterism of Sagittarius. The Milky Way center (upper right) was close to zenith when this photo was taken, just before dawn. Alpha Centauri is the brightest star in the lower right part of the photo. Details: Nikon D700, ISO 3200, 28mm f/3.5, 15s exposure.
