Details:
This unusual pair of bird-shaped iridescent clouds were spotted perched high on a brightly backlit band of cloud just before sunset in Mutare, Zimbabwe. Taking the photograph against the light accentuated contrast and color and darkened the background sky which increases the impact of the picture. The bird shapes gathered and dissipated in less than two minutes. The camera used was a Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ60 with sunset auto setting and x 30 zoom.
