Details:
These are Images from the recent total solar eclipse, taken from an aircraft flying at 49000ft. At totality, the aircraft was roughly above the Faroe Islands. Duing the eclipse I took the chance to capture those images to the opposite side of the sun, watching the shadow spread out over the sea of clouds. The one image is taken at about mid eclipse and shows the total shadow band that was visible from the airplane. The other image was taken near the end of the eclipse, where you could already see the dawn coming again. Overall it was an unbelievable view und an unforgettable experience for all of us!
