Details:
During my flight from Fairbanks to Seattle early on March 27, I was surprised to see bright and active Aurorae appearing above the clouds over Alaska around 0:15 AM (10:15 UTC). I was able to capture a few steady images with hand-held camera using 1 second exposures.
Details: Nikon D800 camera with 24mm f/1.4 lens, 3200-5000 ASA, 1-1.6s exp.
