Details:
Yesterday the weather in San Francisco was warm enough to try to catch superior mirages. Yet the horizon was rather foggy, but I kept looking and eventually I did see the mirages, only these were mirages of fog and clouds that are much rarer than mirages of the land. There were also quite a few gray whales migrating North to Alaska. So I captured a whale's fountain with miraged clouds at the background. Later on the fog became thicker, and there were no more mirages seen, yet there was Kelvin–Helmholtz instability in that fog, which also was nice to see.
