Details:
The night of the conjunction was unseasonably cold but the sky was clear offering excellent seeing; I had to get out and record the event. The beautiful combo floated above distant city lights surrounded by a few stars bright enough to show through our regional light pollution. The crescent Moon's unlit disc glowed with Earthshine. All-in-all an excellent photo op. Canon IOS 6D, ISO 2,000, f/11, 3.2 sec., 82mm.
