Details:
These have been easily some of the most intense Northern Light displays I have personally witnessed during this solar cycle - very much reminiscent of the stronger appearances during the peak periods of solar cycle 23 (2000-2002). The sky has been literally "on fire" - and likely displaying the full variety of all the colors aurorae have to offer. It's been fantastic to observe this mostly "unannounced" event just 7 miles South of the Atigun Pass in the Alaskan Brooks Range.
