Comparing the outer corona observed in Slavbard eclipse with the flares and ejections seen within the inner corona there is a correlation between the solar activity in the upper NW quadrant of the sun and the broader more intense corona shown here with two different exposures. Taken with Nikon D810 and Nikon F4 300 mm with 1.4 TC.
