Details:
Had perfectly clear skies, and I was expecting something good, so I headed out as soon as I felt it was dark enough (around 9:30 pm or so EDT). Was not at all disappointed - this was definitely a night among my favorites from the past few years. Early on, besides the usual greens, we had a lot of reds, yellows, and even into the blue range (rare for our area in my experience). Had to work as fast as possible just to try to keep up and not miss something. Shot with Pentax K-5 with Pentax 10-17mm fisheye lens set to 10mm, ISO 3200, f/3.5, shutter speeds varying from 4 to 15 seconds.
