Details:
Drove/hiked to the 4,020' summit of Bickle Knobb, WV hoping to catch a glimpse of aurora on the distant northern horizon. Saw nothing with naked eye, but photos revealed a very subtle and faint red glow above nearby light pollution, just after midnight. I suppose it counts?! Taken with Cannon Rebel T3i: 30s, 800ISO, f3.5
