Auroras
Taken by Rayann Elzein on March 18, 2015 @ Last night (or should I say this morning) I saw the northernmost Auroras that I have ever seen! Here on Svalbard the weather forecast was quite bad but luckily it cleared up around 1am and that was just on time to see a nice Aurora strip in the sky! Why just on time? Here at 78°N days are getting longer very fast this time of year, and dawn had already started around 1:30am as you can see on the photo behind the mountains. Tonight the weather forecast is much better so let's hope for more auroras. And of course stay tuned for all the stories about tomorrow's solar eclipse!
