Auroras
Taken by Dustin Ginetz on March 17, 2015 @
I missed out on the highest of the Kp intensity by half an hour due to driving up from Calgary (was really exited as I could faintly see the lights dancing before the stars were even visible)but spent a few hours taking some images north of Edmonton, Alberta and finally packed up an hit the highway home. Just as I pulled on the pavement around 1:30am the sky exploded and started dancing like a bonfire...so I quickly pulled into a safe spot and shot an amazing display until I started getting tired around 3 am! Headed for home and watched the afterglow flicker in the rear-view mirror until the sun started to come up!
