Details:
Photos hand-held on my Canon PowerShot so not great but do show the colours. The auroral bands were green with some showing faint red at the ends. However the red-yellow colour in the photos is streetlight glare on the haze. Fog early in evening but aurora was good from 22:30 until 23:45 but then faded and obscured by haze increasing again.
Canon Powershot SX270HS – ISO 6400, 1 sec handheld!
