Details:
When I checked the sky at around midnight, there was no visible sign of any activity here, so I went to bed. Didn't actually wake up until around 4:30am, and the sky was bright with mostly green auroras, visible in pretty much every direction. At first they were mostly just green and without much form, but they gradually built up with some reds and formed a nice corona overhead. Temperature was a "balmy" -9C, but we had quite a sharp wind the whole couple of hours that I was out, making it feel pretty chilly. Stayed out until a little after 7:00am EDT, and by then the waning moon was just rising, and the eastern sky was showing signs of dawn. Shot with Pentax K-5 with Pentax 10-17mm fisheye lens set to 10mm, f/3.5, ISO 3200, 8 seconds.
