Details:
I always look to the north when I wake up, and this morning at around 5 am, I saw the auroras. I woke up my two oldest boys and drove to the lakeshore to get a better view. The lights were shooting to top of the sky and even into the southern sky for nearly a half an hour before dissipating. Unfortunately, strong NW winds made it difficult to steady the tripod for a clear picture, but the green hues I managed to capture were a fitting start to St. Patrick's Day 2015.
