Sundogs, halos and arcs
Taken by Sophie Melanson on March 7, 2015 @ Yesterday morning, about an hour after sunrise, I watched beautiful halos, sundogs, and arcs forming around the sun that lasted a little over an hour. I have an 18mm lens on cropped frame camera and could not get it in one shot. In the first picture I combined 2 photos to illustrate the 1st halo and part of a second higher above with the beautiful arc at the top. This is the first time I've seen this whole combination around the sun. It was a great start to a day :)
