While waiting for the high speed solar wind to arrive last night it was very cloudy with gale force winds our guests where asking if there was any hope at all we replied theres always hope. But just after midnight on the 1 of march it arrived, and with a bang too. The sky cleared and revieled corona after corona and every sort of detail that it could offer. wow. I can honestly say that i probably seen the best corona of my life time ( 40 years experience ) and missed it (Photography wise )because my camera fell over in the gale that was blowing and it took a long time to recover all the lost data etc. But never the less in the hours up until daylight my guide and i both snapped up ,128gb of images with our full frame cameras. The rest of the guests where awe struck not to mention our selves too. Most of the other guides where either home or in an over cloudy area according to our phone calls , once again we where lucky ,adding to our 95% high of finding aurora this season . I have managed to grab some images from the many we have taken last night and uploaded them while the guests are having something to eat, As we are back on and other aurora hunt now.
