There's a "scar" and bright spot noticed on the surface of Jupiter(circled in the photo) from latitude 20° to 80° north. What could have caused this? The second picture are two red channel images taken 15 minutes in between, during imaging. The "scar" appeared in both image, and it's pretty convincing since it seems following the rotation. 2015-02-23, 17:06 UT. (2015-02-24 1:06am UTC +8 local time) Celestron CGEM-925HD, QHY 5L-II(mono), 3x, AS!2, Registax 6, 150% Photoshop CS5.1, RGB Kuen Cheng High School, Kuala Lumpur.

I was going to say it was a stacking artifact, but it seems to stay in time and rotate with Jupiter atmosphere. Very intriguing...
