Details:
We were driving back to Tahoe at dusk from an awesome day at Mammoth. Passing Lee Vining, it was impossible not to stop in the freezing cold wind & darkness not to photograph this conjunction against the Sierra Nevada Mountains. It happened so fast, I could barely adjust my Nikon D3200's settings fast enough before the conjunction dropped below the mountains.
