This image of Jupiter was taken at 9:50pm Tuesday evening, February 17th. The great "RED" spot is easily seen near the middle and the dark image located near 2:00 is the shadow of Europa. An 5-inch refractor and ZWO ASI120MC color video camera was used to capture a stack of 500 frames of Jupiter. The image of comet Lovejoy is a 30-second photo taken with an 80mm refractor at ISO 1600.
