Mercury meets Moon near dawn
Planetary summit of our Moon and the small planet Mercury over the old town of Corfu, a Unesco world.
A wonderful planetary sunrise in the sweet colors of dawn.
With the moon even if it's a little smaller than Mercury dominates the sky because of it closer distance, about 360,000 km, while the Mercura was about 0.84AU or about 125.7 million km away. The angular separation in the sky of Corfu was about 2.20 °.
