Details:
On 21./22. February Venus will pass Mars just a half degree south. To prepare for the encounter, I imaged them on February 14th and 16th. Both shots were taken with a Canon 6D, 300 mm lens at f/5.6, ISO 800 and 1 sec exposure at the same time (18:30 local time). The distance decreased from 3.5 to 2.6 degrees.
