Details:
Huge solar filament on the solar disk. Using a telescope equipped with a H-alpha filter it is possible to see a very long solar filament. Adding a ruler given by Guy Buhry and correcting for the curvature, we obtain an estimate of the filament length of about 900 000 km, one of the largest Hα filament recorded in history!
