Happy Opposition Day!!! The Planet Jupiter & Moon Ganymede reappearance from behind Jupiter at Opposition on 02-06-2015 at 03:40 U.T. Had better than average seeing for the Midwest that is, and tad bit noisy, but hey I'll take this over the horrible seeing we usually get, I was even able to pickup a small albedo feature on Ganymede as well!!! I did captured a movie of Ganymede reappearing from behind Jupiter in the red channel, so I will post that later.. 10" SCT scope, 2x barlow, QHY5LII CCD camera, Astronomik RGB, 51 fps avi, 3000 frames stacked in Registax, separate RGB combined in Maxim DL.
