Details:
It resembled a sundog, but it was about 90 degrees away from the sun in azimuth. It also didn't show any 'rainbow' colors like sundaes do... More of a reflection phenomena than a refractive one? Either way, this was new to me! Thank goodness for cellphone cameras, since it would have been gone by the time I had retrieved my SLR from the house.
