Details:
The same funnel appeared 1/3/15. That's when the coronal hole at the south appeared. Now a super active equatorial area is coming as is more defined in the photo. Spot 2268 appears to be funneling out of a spout of sorts like earlier this month. However, the coming active regions were not as threatening. Should be an interesting solar week, here in frigid Montana some parts have seen nearly 70 degrees this last week. Early spring?
