Details:
It began as a ho-hum sunset but quickly got spectacular as intense anti-solar rays appeared on the eastern horizon above Coyote Mt.(the epicenter of a rattling earthquake a week earlier.) As time passed the shadow rays disappeared in the east and moved upward beneath the crescent moon in picture 2. The third picture is looking toward the west and clouds from an approaching storm that would dump heavy rainfall in the desert the next day. All in all a magnificent display. Canon T3-i. 1/125 sec. ISO 400.
