Details:
I'm pleased to send you this image of this PHA, while it was still close to its min distance from us. What makes this image even more remarkable is that the telescope perfectly tracked its apparent motion. So it is NOT the sum of a subset of short exposure frames, but a single, 120-seconds one one. For the image I used the main, 17" robotic unit part of the Virtual Telescope Project (www.virtualtelescope.eu). A few hundred of thousands of people from all the globe saw this rock online thanks to the live observing session offered by the Virtual Telescope.
