We were waiting for those sounding rocket since 13th of January. Conditions were not good, so every day we were waiting and waiting. Today finally clear sky, -42'F and 4 of 5 rocket went to our atmosphere and back to study Auroras.. One of the most beautiful evens we were witness.. Both this and your following set of 27 January are simply gorgeous. And thanks for your time and trouble in taking the shots in the first place. (hopefully, the frigid temperatures of a winter high pressure system coincided with relatively still winds.)
