Details:
The coma continues to be easily seen with the naked eye, but with any frost haze in the air, the tail requires optical aid. Binoculars show the tail, though it is faint. This image is a single 60-second exposure at ISO6400 taken with a Canon 60Da, at prime focus of a 12-inch F4.9 Newtonian telescope. Site conditions: Seeing was superior and transparency was good. Temperature was -20 C.
