Spectacular red airglow and the laser - this is what the sky looks like during very intense red airglow. You can read in more details about nature of the airglow right here: http://www.atoptics.co.uk/fz1089.htm . The panorama was taken at ESO Paranal observatory. On the image you can also see four VLT telescopes, while the laser beam is propagated on the sky from VLT UT4 telescope. https://twitter.com/YBeletsky
