Details:
Just when the auroras were the brightest, I heard the sound of some approaching humpback whales. My friend was somewhere quite nearby, capturing photos, so I could not turn my headlight on. I adjusted my camera from 14mm to 24mm, corrected the distance as good as possible, increased the ISO to 6400, all as I was trying to run through a rather bumpy terrain. I set the shutter to 1,6 sec and hoped it would work out OK before I shot some pictures. The first picture show the back of two humpbacks moving away from me. The second picture show that they have moved even further.
