Details for the first image are; Nikon D3100 on ISO 3200, 400mm Tokina lens at f/6.3, 3 minute exposure taken at 2015.01.08 09.27 U.T.
2nd image: 2015.01.09 09.29 U.T. 5 minute exposure. Note the plasma blob has moved down the tail during the 24 hours between the two shots.
