Details:
Comet Lovejoy (C/2014 Q2) is looking really good now. I am using a slr (Canon 6d) and iOptron SkyTracker and was able to get decent images with the tail. So no telescopes are needed! Images were with lens of 50mm, 135mm, and 300mm w/ a 2x. The comet was easily recognizable even with the 50mm lens. So people with slr cameras even without a tracker should be able to image the comet. Canon 6d, F1.8-5.6, ISO 400-3200, 15s - 2 minutes.
