Details:
This was our first observation of a *dayside* aurora, between 12:30 and 13:30 local time, with the sun some 12 degrees below the horizon. This kind of aurora is not as spectacular as nightside auroras but is interesting because it can be observed only at very high latitudes during the dark season. Details: 5 to 10 seconds exposures at 3200 ISO.
