Comet Lovejoy Q2 was captured as it passed by the Globular Cluster M79 at approx. 12:07 am CST, Dec. 29th. Image is a composite of two 30 sec. exposures at 6400 iso using a Canon T4i and a 12.5" homemade Newt.
