Details:
Tonight having a beautiful, clear and very cold sky, I decided to make a season two of the mountain sunrise of March 17, 2005 published here on the 18th. This slow movement of huge shadows on the Moon at first quarter is fascinating! This time I set all the parameters to get the best details of those black fingers ... After almost 8 years, the quality, resolution and field of view of the cameras have greatly improved. The framerate is now close to 100fps in 16 bit ! During almost 6 hours I have saved about 1 TB of uncompressed movies using Firecapture autorun mode (1 min per movie). The cropped pictures shown are example at start, midtime and end of captures. An animation will be done asap but I know by experience that it will take a good week with a very fast PC to register with AutoStakkert!2 ... LX200 12" and USB3 ZWO-ASI120MM-S.
