Details:
My first image of Comet Lovejoy C/2014 Q2. Taken on the evening of 12/26 with the 130EDF refractor and SBIG ST8300M. 28 minute total exposure. Note the beautiful forked tail. Moonlight is going to start to interfere from now until around Jan 7th. After the 7th it will be high in the south around 8pm local time in a dark moonless sky
